WELCOME MEETING.
You will have a thorough briefing with your guide 1 or 2 days before your Huchuy Qosqo Trek. Your guide will meet you at your hotel and you can take this opportunity to ask questions and make any final preparations.


Day 1: Cusco – Chinchero – Tauca – Huchuy Qosqo.

We will pick you up early from your hotel and drive for 50 minutes to the Inca site of Chinchero (3,800 m/ 12,139 ft.). Which is an amazing archeological site. So we will visit that Inca site in order to see several of Inca buildings, nice agricultural terraces and typical Catholic Church on Inca construction. And then we will drive around 25 minutes to get to Tauca Community and which is the place to start our nice hike
The beginning of your trek will be on level terrain, and the landscape will be that of typical Andean valleys rich in corn, potatoes, barley, quinoa and other Andean tubers. As you ascend towards your pass at 4200m. The views of the Cordillera Vilcabamba peaks are spectacular: Veronica,
Pitusiray, Chicon and San Juan snow peaks. Soon after the pass you will start your descent toward the Huchuy Qosqo plains hiking along a path that leads to the Ccauca ravine, where you will be able to see archaeological remains. You will walk downhill towards the Leon Punku ravine, where you will find remains of an Inca bridge and trail. This canyon boasts formations surrounded by majestic rocks and boulders that direct the river to Huchuy Qosqo at 3650 m. Huchuy Qosqo (“Little Cuzco”) is a Noteworthy Inca complex. After that your tour Guide will introduce you the local family in order to have a nice afternoon tea and dinner in the homestay.

Day 2: Huchuy Qosqo – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes.

After enjoy a delicious breakfast at homestay You will go to explore the HUCHUY QOSQO Inca site and then you will have walking tour with our expert Guide talking the nice Inca history and then you will hike downhill to get to Lamay roughly 2 hours which the place to take the bus to get to Urubamba in order to have a delicious lunch and then we will drive to get to Ollantaytambo around 30 minutes.
Ollantaytambo where we will explore the stunning astronomical Inca City of Ollantaytambo. By late afternoon, we take the train to Aguas Calientes where we spend the night in a hotel.

Day 3: Aguas Calientes – Machupicchu – Cusco.

We will have breakfast at your hotel before we take a very early bus (5:30am) driving around 30 minutes to get to Machu Picchu to see the magnificent sunrise. Once there you will be given a 2 hour walking tour of the site.
If you have elected to climb Machu Picchu Mountain you will begin the hike at 10 AM. The ticket price for Machu Picchu Mountain is included in the price of your trek. If you are not climbing the mountain you will have free time to explore Machu Picchu before you return to Aguas Calientes by bus.
When you arrive in Aguas Calientes you will board the expedition train to Ollantaytambo. From Ollantaytambo you will travel by private van to Cusco and we will drop you off at your hotel. Arrival time in Cusco depends on the time of your train ticket.
